WILD LOVE 02/20/2012
No outcome guaranteed, yet still You cry out for a wild love Wild and free Merging with shifting skies Eternal, undiminished. Beyond society’s judgments I found you Beyond good and nice Beyond the coverings Of this particular life. I found you In Rumi’s field. This precious life A simple love inspires us Unfolds, grows Yet fear and insecurity Old pain, old shame The voices of those who Would give us bad advice Keep us tame, keep us the same Would cling and cramp and blame. What synergy of you and me Blissful dreams and memories Lost parts reclaimed Our voices proclaim A gift of grace and courage Sitting with uncertainty and change We pray There is nothing to forgive No need to please Fly through a blameless universe Hearts open like a child We pray Wide eyed, luminous and free Spontaneous, innocent and holy. Listen to the god within As faint hearts grow stronger. Everything is as it should be. Add Comment | The Guest House
